Families are invited to participate for prizes in Book Patch Children’s Library’s Family Chalk Art Festival contest Sept. 11–18; everyone is welcome to celebrate the active outdoor gallery! There’s room for 96 families to each design their own square of sidewalk around the library. The library will supply free chalk, but you can supplement with your own items, such as sponges, brushes, blockout tape and other types of chalk.
Sign-ups end Monday, Sept. 17 or when all squares are assigned at JBLMlibraries.com on the calendar of events.
Share photos of your creations at fb.com/JBLMlibrary. Three winners will be chosen and announced Monday, Sept. 20 on the library Facebook page. Each winner receives a $50 Amazon gift card.
