Our backyard Nisqually River flows from its headwaters on the flanks of Mount Rainier through a forested canyon corridor adjacent to JBLM. Join us for a 9-mile paddle along this scenic river. Kayakers will enjoy the progression of rapids from class I through class III along the river.
Participant Restrictions: 16+ with parent or guardian. Need to be an intermediate paddler comfortable with quick kayaking movements through rocky Class 2 waters.
Max Participant Headcount: 12 (min 3)
What ODR provides: Transportation, gear and some instruction
What you pack: Water and snacks for a day out on the river, towel and dry clothes to change into
