Tour coastal artilleries

#
Note: This event has already passed.

Travel back in time as we tour several coastal artillery bases that protected our ports during WWII. Sunday, Nov. 13, we’ll visit Fort Flagler and Fort Worden, part of the Triangle of Fire that protected the Admiralty Inlet into Puget Sound.
We’ll walk quite a distance over uneven terrain, footpaths and stairs, and enter dark, tight rooms and hallways.
The $65 cost includes transportation, guide and a head lamp for each person.
The trip is open to ages 13 and older (youth must have parent or guardian supervision). Wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing; bring snacks and water.
