Women Rock Series: Climbing

Learn how to rock climb and take your new skills outside! This program is designed to teach all skills necessary to safely top rope climb. We will work on how to safely fit a harness, tie in as a climber, properly check systems and communicate with your climbing partner. We will also learn how to belay a climber, catch a fall and safely lower a climber to the ground. This program includes three instructional nights at the Adventures Unlimited climbing wall before heading out to climb real rock on one all-day trip in the field at Frenchman Coulee in Vantage, WA. The cost is $225 and includes instruction and all gear necessary for successful climbing. Trip for women, led by women.

Instructional Classes 6-8 p.m.: Aug. 4, 18 & Sept. 1.
